I bit the bullet and bought a set of these from HSN. Just got an email that they were shipped, although target date of getting here isn't until the 30th. I used a free shipping code after playing the little holiday game, of which I got the consolation prize of the free shipping.

The flourish folder is the one I really wanted.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, yes, they are different, and not available in stores. Oh My Crafts has 20% off using code SAVE20 at checkout.

I just tried to use that code for Oh My Crafts, and got a message that it was invalid. Even though their web page advertises that you can get 8 embossing folders for a flat rate shipping charge (which according to the USPS is $4.95), it tried to charge me $9.00 shipping, for 6 embossing folders! Ridiculous! There wasn't even an option for choosing flat rate.

If I can get the lower shipping, I'll buy. If I can't, then the extra $4 in shipping cost is an absolute deal breaker.

Yep, I hear you!!! I just placed an order with them the other day about a Special that is going on and they charged me $9.00 for something that is probably coming in a bubble envelope for $ 2.00. I wonder how they calculate and yes it sucks that they don't give you the option of selecting Flat-Rate. The only option they give you is USPS which is $ 9.00 and UPS...did not check that rate, but I bet it is more than that

I do want these folders from Oh My Crafts, but am still greatly annoyed by the shipping. In looking at their site again this morning, I decided to send an email to customer service mentioning that the flat rate shipping option wasn't appearing, and saying that $9 to ship the 6 embossing folders I wanted was not going to be acceptable.

Their work hours are listed as only M-F, so I'm not necessarily expecting an answer this weekend, but we'll see.

Since the only craft stores around are Michaels, Joann and Hobby Lobby, I do spend a considerable amount of money online for things I can't get at those 3 stores. I almost always order enough to get free shipping, and never order if the shipping cost could be considered gouging, which this is.

BTW, I did order the exclusive set from HSN. They arrived 7 days earlier than projected, and are beautiful! Good service from HSN.

I ordered the exlusive folders from OMC and only paid $3.50 for shipping, lol. But then again I only wanted the Christmas ones. I didn't care for the others.
