CSSC94 - Initial Technique
Good Morning Ladies!
So I have your wheels turning do I??? Well, that's fun! This is a little different, but I think you'll enjoy it! Remember, you have ALL WEEK to get your creation competed before the next challenge begins. So take your time and have fun with it!!
What we are doing today is going to the RESOURCES tab here on SCS ... scroll down to see all the different techniques ... find a technique which begins with the FIRST INITIAL of either your FIRST name, LAST name, (or in my case, BOTH) and create a card using that style. I know there are a few initials that don't give you much of a choice or maybe none at all ... in that case, pick a style from the initial before or after yours.
For My Creation, I chose D(arlene) iagonal Double pocket card & P(avlick) oppin' Pastels
I hope you have fun with the challenge and I'm anxious to see all the awesome creations. Happy Stamping my friends!!
Here is a quick link to the INITIAL TECHNIQUE GALLERY And don't forget to use the keywords CSSC94 and craftysecrets ... so we don't miss seeing your creation!

How clever of you my dear! teehee. I'm kinda scared to look. I'm such a control freak, what if I don't like ANY of the techniques under my intials! Ok, time to put my big girl panties on ... teehee. I'm off to check out M and W!

I hope you are feeling better soon Julie! I have "weatheritis" today myself. I had big plans to get something created tonight, but the bed is sounding pretty good right now! Hang in there girly!

What a great challenge Darlene. Gave me an opportunity to explore all the techniques that Splitcoase has in their resources. Here is the card I made just for this challenge.
Thanks,
Marisa

my challenge card
hello! Darlene, I'm wondering if you could help me...(I know, no comments, please LOL)
I completed my card for the challenge and in key words I put the CSSC94 but it isn't showing up in the crafty secrets gallery.
It's a Joy fold card with a Hidden Message Slider.
Is there something else I should be doing??
TIA..Jan

First let me say that your creation is AWESOME!!! The problem is because you need a space between the comma after Spellbinder and the CSSC94. It's looking at it as a whole ... spellbinder's,cssc94
Put the space and see if that doesn't help! I want everyone to see this beautiful work of art! WOW ... thanks for playing the challenge ... hope you enjoyed it!!

Thanks for the fun challenge Dar! I took the easy way out and chose Sponging! I did however manage to use my middle initial as well for embossing!

Hope everyone who is sick is feeling better! It's been so dark and rainy here I wish I could go back to bed!

Fun challenge~ now I'm off to see all of your beautiful creations.
Sweet snow kiddies
OK as for those of you who are trying to figure out the technique I used~ here is my loose interpretation of the challenge:
W- (my last name) watercolor wet crayons used for snowflakes; what other letter can I use- f for felt~ that's a good one~ I like felt and I could use those cute snowflakes I'm hoarding. The connection of f to my~ none. OK so somehow I've drifted far from the challenge but had fun. Thanks for the fun Darlene!

Okay, I managed to squeeze both of my techniques on one little tag! Thanks, Darlene - that was fun and the perfect challenge for a technique-phobe like me!
