Yes, I believe it is retired. I will certainly bring it on the 28th. Is that soon enough for you? If you need images before then, Just let me know and I will stamp some for you and send them by mail.

That's very nice but I will wait. I can think about design until then. Hmmm, what to do, what to do...

Nope! I'm scared of toy warehouse sales! There are so many things there that at the moment seem like a good idea but when I bring it home realize that it wasn't. lol...besides with 4 kids, our house is a toy warehouse as it is...

It wasn't that hard because she had already picked a card that I had previously made which had a butterfly on it. Imagine replacing a butterfly with a Harley! Hmmmm....maybe I should pop off a few more and do another spot for Move It Move It swap.

Good morning everyone! What's on tap for today???
My boys are both off today (PD Day), so we are home. Why is it that when you CAN actually sleep in, you don't? What the heck is up with that?
Today I plan on tidying my crafting area/dining room table up a bit and doing some creating. I need to get some laundry done too (does that EVER end? LOL!)
I've got some ideas for the Level 1 Hostess set, Patterned Pines, so will be doing some playing with that. I need to get some new stuff up on my blog too...it's getting stale over there!!!
Have a GREAT day everyone!

Janet, so sorry you are ill! Hope you get better soon!
Michelle, welcome to our really exclusive, madly fun group! LOL! This got started because a number of gals were in swaps together, had fun on-line, and realized they were within driving distance, so decided to meet in person (at a restaurant), which they did, then it grew and more of us joined in last month, and we now want to try to get together once a month. Next get together is Nov. 28 at Diana's place in Bradford for an overnighter of stamping/crafting fun.

That would be me!
Welcome Michelle! It's always great to have new people join...the more the merrier!! And the more to draw inspiration from! It would be awesome if you could join us! This will be the first time we're going to craft together. The last few times have been restaurant meetings so I'm sure it'll be a super time since this is what brought us together.

Welcome Michelle!
Can't wait to get to know you a bit better. Hope you don't mind a little insanity now and then...it's just the way we are - LOL!
We don't take much to seriously, so if you see chats about meds and cutlery...don't worry about it - it's all in good fun!

Sounds like my kinda group..LOL..
Well you all can get to know me a little by visiting my blog and what I've been up to lately...
But here is a little about me...I've never been married, although I have been with my better half for 10 years. He is the one that helps enable my craft addictions even though he complains about it...lol....
I have taken over the computer room which he no longer uses because he now has PS3...lol..
I used to sell supplies on ebay a few years ago and plan on selling the rest of it off in the next couple of weeks to make room in my crafting space. I even sold Scrap pages but then someone copied my design and I got very discouraged at the violation and stopped that altogether...
Then I found this place and it has fed and enabled my stamping addiction...I was at the time a very new Demo...I'm a hobbie demo...I can't afford it for much longer though...

Sounds like you'll fit right in with us nutties!! lol...
We're a mix match group who surprisingly get along really well and we 'get' each other. lol...there are 8 of us, now 9 .
I'll give you a little background on me now...DH and I have 4 boys (hence the name..lol), they're 11yo, 9yo, 21 months, and 10 months. I'm a stay-at-home mom, therefore have the luxury of stampin at all hours if the kids cooperate. DH accepts my addiction and supports it quietly...lol.
I started stamping 4-5 years ago but really only got serious about it in the last year or so. I signed up as a SU demo about 8 months ago but like you am just a hobbyist, although I hold workshops here and there upon request. (I have one this Sunday, if you're interested ) Besides my sister and another gf (both of whom are not as enthusiatic as I am), I don't really have anyone to craft with either. I joined SCS 6 months ago and have been addicted since. lol.

Since Diana got the ball rolling...a little about me:
I started off scrapbooking (Scrapping) and I'm a mommy (Mommy). I have three children (of3) and that's how I got my name...at least on here - LOL! Everywhere else, I'm either AppleBlossom or AppleBlossomWhiskey (long story).
I started scrapbooking back in 2000 when someone dragged me to a Creative Memories party. I haven't done much of that lately though and find my paper fixes in stamping - LOL!
Like Diana, I have been a Stampin' UP! demo for only a few months and am a hobbyist as well. I do have a few friends who order occasionally, but somehow I still manage to make my quarterly minimums - LOL!
My little peeps are Lauren (just turned 15), Colin (just turned 11) and Jonathan (almost 7). We spend a LOT of time at Sick Kids as both Lauren and Jonathan have cardiac conditions (another long story).
I am blessed to be married to my best friend and thankful that I am a SAHM (most days!).

Looks like it's 'show and tell' time! Well, at least the 'tell' part.
I have the fine distinction of being the oldest of the group and am very dignified (not!) I've been single for more years than I was married, and have three grown kids. My son lives in Austin, Texas and is the father of my three wonderful grandsons, so I go there about 4 times a year. I also have two daughters living in Ontario, one up north near Ottawa, and the youngest in Toronto.
I am a nurse and work the night shift in our small local hospital. Most days I love it, but with this H1N1 thing going on, it's a challenge. This weekend I was fortunate to be working with another member of this group, Melissa L, who can tell you about herself (if she chooses)
I've been making my own cards as long as I can remember. I used to cut pictures out of magazines and also make photo cards. I still have the first stamp set I bought at our local 5 and dime store many years ago. I got into scrapbooking about 8 years ago, when I went into our local scrapbooking store to buy a scrapbook for my daughter in law and got hooked myself. She never did use the items I bought for her, and my son gave them back to me when they split up. Nowadays, I am more about instant gratification, and make cards instead of scrapbooking, but i hope to get back to scrapping some of my numerous photos soon.
Besides stamping, I also enjoy crocheting, dog sitting, travelling, photography, hiking and skiing. Did you notice that housework wasn't in this list??

Good Morning Ladies it was so great reading about you all...hope to read more well last night was a little crazy...Yuh see...my DH loves Call Of Duty....and his son who lives in Winnipeg couldn't go stand in line because he had no one to go with. (I got it for DH B-day but it is on pre-order because there are only a certain number of these game until XMas and that's if your luck at Xmas to get a copy..) Sort of like the whole Elmo Craze!!! LOL. I wanted to go to Michaels before all of this so I asked if he could take me and I bought most of the new Recollections wooden Xmas stamps...actually he bought them for me because he knew, I knew he was going to stand in line at midnight for the dang game...which he did...I don't even know what time he got home I fell asleep...
I kinda forgot how crazy people go over something that is limited...I remember my mother fighting some woman for a Cabbage Patch doll and it almost turned into an full blown boxing match...lol...

I'm trying to keep myself healthy.........enough sleep, exercise, wash my hands and wear protective clothing (mask, gown, gloves and goggles) at work, take my vitamins and eat lots of chocolate (chocolate has lots of anti-oxidants, doesn't it?) Anyway, I have the next 8 days off, if no one else gets sick and they call me in for an extra shift.
I'll have a few ladies over to make cards tonight, tomorrow I go to see Diana, Thursday, my SIL and I are going out for dinner at a colleagues place. The three of us are old friends and when we get together we do nothing but laugh (also good for the immune system). Lots of chores and activities planned. Oh, yes, I am dog sitting my former neighbour's sweet dog this week too!

Morning all ~
Phew.. my desk exploded at work and now I have less time to lurk around SCS!
*waving* to our new addition Michelle! I hopped onto your blog and followed; I just have to do it again from my stamping blog, I couldn't figure out how to sign out and I am too lazy to figure it out right now...lol
Thanks for sharing your background with us!
I think everyone here already knows about me. I'm Karen... lol
I am also not married. I live with my bf and together we have a 1 year old puppy named ROCKSTAR. bf has a dd who's 11 (going on21) and we have her part-time.
Um.... what else.... starting scrapbooking oh.. gosh.. 6 or 7 years ago... took a 2 or so year hiatus, sold everything I own an moved to Toronto from Vancouver, BC just over two years ago. After a couple of months of living here, I started up again, and now I am again up to my ears in paper.... lol
