Default Slapsticks from Penny Black

I just got my order of these Penny Black stamps. I just love them. They are large dies and have the image stamped right on the stamp. Each comes in a cellophane package with the color image.
I hope PB continues with this line. I will go broke, but will have a great time doing it.

They are rubber stamps mounted on EZ Mount and you use them with an acrylic blook.

You can see what they look like in the following link:

Hi Sophie!

I keep checking your blog hoping for more original art (no pressure though!).

I'm still working on my pencil drawing and converted one to ink and then to a digi stamp. But I don't think I'll ever have the guts to draw in ink like you do. Yikes! you are brave LOL! Love your ink and watercolors!

I used two of these this past saturday and both wouldn't completely stamp. I had a missing spot on both. I had to put the paper to the stamp instead of stamp to paper. I used an acrylic block without foam under the paper and then tried foam. Neither method worked. The only way I got all the ink to transfer was the paper to stamp method. I did ink up my stamp really good too...you could still see the ink on the stamp once I lifted it from the paper.

Anyone have a problem with them stamping fully? I have the sitting snowman and the hedgehogs.

Also I noticed my cling isn't that clingy.

I love Penny Black and will definitely buy more but wondered if anyone else had this problem.

Scrappintlc, hm, I haven't bought any Slapsticks. Can you contact Penny Black Inc. directly and explain the problem?

I did have a problem with another totally different stamp (a Crafty Secrets one). I didn't buy it from their online store; I bought it from some other store. But Crafty Secrets immediately sent me a replacement stamp AND a little extra gift! (So it is always worth a try - Penny Black might send you some replacements)

Catherine, sorry *embarrassed look*. On a recent visit to my sister's, I observed up close how much my niece (almost 3) and nephew (almost 5) love their cards from me. So now, I make cards for them every chance I get, instead of drawing or uploading to the blog. I do still upload some of the cards I make for them to SCS. *grin* I actually did download your harvest ink drawing (it's BEAUTIFUL!!) and am going to make a Thanksgiving card with it for them (but I haven't yet).
