SCS Member Sairabee Loses Her Henry
Today, a SCS member lost her son suddenly. I don't know a lot of details but basically, her son Henry, woke up the day before Halloween feeling ill. He was diagnosed with a virus and sent home. Didn't get better over the weekend and actually was taken to ER Sunday. He crashed quickly. Underwent emergency heart surgery but the poor little guy just didn't make it.

I'm sorry.....I should also say that I believe someone is trying to set up a memorial fund in Henry's name at a zoo close to where he lives
Sorry for so many short posts. I'm not as eloquent as many around here are. I'm just still reeling for this poor family.
To wake up one day and be fine and then a few short days later, to have lost a child. It tears my heart.

As you can see, the memorial plans are still in preliminar planning. I'll also post the link to the zoo through which the memorial hopefully will be set up.

This is all just so tragically sad. Kids should get sick and get better. I feel so profoundly sad for Sarah.
Sarah if you see this please if you need even to chat for a moment PM me or find me on FB. I lost my daughter and hope if nothing more can come from that I can at least give you a small sense of safety to share your feelings.
I've been crying off and on for you all all day. I'm in shock, so sad. I hope that you can feel all the hugs and support being sent your way and that it helps you in this sad time.

I'm so sorry. I remember when you're little boy was born, because of your posts. It was around the same time my son was born. I am so heartbroken for you... I wish there was a way to make it better... I don't know why God chooses for some of us to stay, and some to leave so suddenly, but I do know that your son is with him now. I know that doesn't ease the pain, but just know that God is taking care of your angel. I am so so sorry.

Oh how awful. I am so so saddened by this news. I can't even begin to say how sorry I am for their loss. big {{HUGS}} for Sarah and Darrin... I'll be keeping them heavily in my thoughts...

My thoughts, prayers, and all my heart are with Sarah and her family.
I wish that words or the love and warmth of so many who care could help in any way but I imagine very little can stand against such a huge and devastating tide of grief and loss.
Thank you to everyone who's posted links and wants to help. I can't imagine a greater gift to a family than such love and support in a time of such inconceivable loss.

My church is hacing a prayer vigil on Friday. I will add them to my prayer list and have folks hold them in prayer...
I can not imagine it. I don't even want to. My GOD I'd die!

If you would like to donate for memorial trees for Henry following is what I posted on FB.
I am absolutely thrilled to tell all of Sarah's friend that we can purchase TREES as a memorial for Henry. What a symbolic way to remember him! I'm providing you all with a link to the Memorial Tree Pamphlet. You can print it out...fill in your information and then send it with your donation directly to the city of Oshkosh. Please be certain to put Sarah or Henry Anderson somewhere on your donation slip. The type of tree will be determined by the amount of money that is donated and once a little time has gone by I will be asking where Henry's favorite places were in the zoo and the trees will be planted in that particular area. Please note that no trees will be planted until spring...it is too cold there right now and they don't have the number of workers that they do in the spring/summer.
