It's not scary unless you drive a white minivan.
This week's question: What kind of car do you drive?
In my experience it's the white minivans that brake at green lights, slow up the fast lane, and stop when there is no stop sign. I apologize in advance if you drive a white one. I don't know why it's usually those. Lol.
I have a 1996 red RS Camaro. I grew up with classic Camaros (my dad used tocollect them) and have an affinity for them. I got it a year before my senior year of high school. I've had her for nine years. We've been thinking about getting a new vehicle and it'll be a sad day when I leave her. Many tears. I wish I wasn't attached as I am.
Alright you BMW, Jag, and Lexus owners, fess up!

Congrats, KelliJo!!!!! Loved your card!
Megan, I can totally see you in that red Camaro!
I drive a black Chevy Tahoe. I often have my four kids, a friend or two, and lots of stuff in my car -- it does the job well!

No BMW, Lexus, Jag OR white minivan here. I drive a 2010 Ford Fusion (not the hybrid). I just bought it in September and I looooove it. It's a dark dark metallic green that looks black except in certain lighting. It's got a huge trunk, my cello fits flat across the back seat, and I love it.

I LOVE my car! I drive a black Acura TL. And why do I love my car?
Because it is my first ME car since high school. I WORE out a small station wagon and two vans before I got my car!

Don't get rid of your Camero, you love her, put her in storage or something. My son can't part with his 1994 Mustang GT, i think he will have it forever. I am driving a 2002 Ford minivan, silver, almost white, but I am one of those cussing the other people. I don't think I will ever go back to a car. I love the height of the van or SUV, easier for me to get into. Hubby drives a 2005 Ford F250. Nice truck, but I love my van.

Sorry no BMW, Lexus, Jag owner here. My first car was a Datsun Sentra (yes, that was before it was a Nissan). My Zadie gave me $2000 towards it and I paid $1700. I had money left over for insurance.
My next car & most favorite of them all was my Mazda 626LX until an older lady made a left turn right in front of me and totaled it. I was broken hearted, I loved that car. I got another one right after that that was another 626 is was a 5 speed. I hated that car for some reason.
My current car is a Mitsubishi Galant, this one everyone else hates for me b/c they have dented it all up for me & I've only had it for 2 years. It's so sad.
I know you didn't ask for my history of cars but there you have it.

Megan I drive a Nissan Altima that I bought all by myself last year. It's my first big girl purchase I was so excited. I just love my car. It's got a great push start button, so I never have to dig my keys out of my purse. In college I drove a big Dodge Ram because my daddy said I needed a heavy duty vehicle to protect me from myself !

Congrats KJ!! That should make your week much better!!!
Congrats to Chris too!
I drive a red Dodge Caravan minivan. Boring! But functional! We have so many out of town guests that we need as much seating as we can get between them and the kids!

thanks everybody.
I have had many cars, I had a Honda for 13 years and kick myself for trading it in. I shoulda kept it. One of my favorites was the orange with black roof VW convertible I traded the Honda in for. You wouldn't believe the attention that car got. People would yell stuff at me all the time. Kind of freaky, but fun. I turned it into a Jack O Lantern at Halloween. That was really fun, and when it was in the driveway on Halloween one of the trick-or-treaters parents told me they saw me in some town that day, funny thing is it wasn't me, some other nut decorated their car too, and there weren't too many of the orange and black ones out there.
Now I drive a 2006 red Audi A4 convertible with a black roof. It's very sporty.
I have never owned a mini-van.
I do have a lead foot problem.

Congrats to our runner-ups: Chris & Kerry. The gallery sure was rockin this week.
I drive a 2006 white Ford Taurus that I got when my hubby's blood sugar (yes, he's diabetic) bottomed out while he was driving my white Chevy Malibu and totalled it. He was very lucky to be alive today since the front end was smashed up to the firewall with his left arm going out the drivers side window cutting up a lot of arteries so he lost a lot of blood. Needless to say, he doesn't drive anymore. The Taurus may not be a fancy smancy car, but it's got a lot of get up and go when I want it and plenty of trunk space for a walker or wheelchair when I need it, plus luggage.

my cousin flipped over a car because he wasn't managing his diabetes. He had a really hard time accepting it, especially because he had been thin and in good shape all his life.

Megan! How did you know???!!!!
I have a white Kea Sedona. People: DO NOT EVER BUY A KEA SEDONA! Just trust me on this one! I can't wait to get rid of it!!!
God, always so negative! LOL!
Editing to add that I used to have a VW lime green bug that was my favorite car in the whole world! Before that I had a Mercury Mystique, wich I loved, I had that one in college, and in high school I had a grand am. I loved that one too because it was my first car. But, my bug, oh how I loved that car!!! It's just not kid or baby carrier friendly! LOL! It could go in the snow though like a tank!
