7 days left & counting....."Christmas Joy" Card Swap
Welcome to my swap.... I love Christmas and all the joy that the Christmas Season brings. So I thought it would be fun to do a "Christmas Joy" Card swap. I am not new to the swapping forum... this is just my first swap since the rules changed. So if I have missed anything, please let me know!
SWAP RULES:
This is a 4+1 card swap, so it's a really quick and easy swap! You send in 5 cards and get back 4 for each spot you take. The +1 is for me...because I would like to spread the Joy of Christmas and give them to charity! Feel free to take as many spots as you wish!
Your Cards must be two layers with at least one embellishment. You must include the word "JOY" somewhere on your card. You may also add layers of designer paper, and stamped images. You can have as many spots as you want, but each spot must have a different set of cards.
*Due in my hands by Dec 1, 2009.... Short notice, I know! but that's the "joy of it"....
Mailing instructions:
Place your cards in a ziplock bag for protection. Write your SCS name, real name and name of swap on the bag or on a piece of paper in the bag. Include a SASE with at least the same amount of postage it took to mail to me + 2 additional stamps NO METERED STRIPS PLEASE! Don't forget, the cards you get back may be heavier than what you sent in, so please do not forget your extra postage. I highly recommend delivery confirmation as I am not responsible for swaps once they leave my hands. I don't mind reusing the envelope that you send just let me know in advance. All unused postage will be returned.
When you are ready to spread the "Christmas Joy"... please email or PM me for my address.
There is three categories:
Full cards - Folded cards MUST measure 4.25 by 5.5 inches
3x3 Cards - Folded cards MUST measure 3 by 3 inches
Trading Card (ATC) - Single cards MUST measure 2.4 by 3.5 inches
To add to the fun of this swap, I have several prizes to give away while we play...

I have told them over and over again to go with usps priority is HALF that....no answer. But that doesn't mean we'll give up right? Just keep letting them know why we don't like to buy from them.

I won't buy from them... although I do have lots of Whipper Snappers. If they choose more reasonable shipping then I would, but until then it isn't going to happen. |

Leslie.... you are causing me to have a nervous "BuyDown", kind of like a "Breakdown".... only it is when I have to nervously steal from my craft budget to "Buy" something I just gotta HAVE!!!!!!

This is true.......I used to sell, but divorced I guess.
I tried not to look else where, but these found me! I only bought from them one time and am still recoving from the shipping! Oh, how I do love Stampin' Up though........... |

So sorry to hear about your breakdown. I try to look at the bright side of things...and well....face it, no more excuses why you would be able to join the FOREST swaps!!!
Maybe I should get a petition going for WSD protest against their shipping.... |

I found them online..... I agree the shipping is a little high for just the stamps and not the stamps and the bases. Wouldn't they just fit in one of the new $4.95 shipping boxes? |
