Karmen, the owner, has given us a special SCS rate!
Over Nighter - regularly $200pp SCS Rate - $140pp
Includes two nights lodging in the bunkhouse (3 p.m. Friday � 3 p.m. Sunday) and five meals starting with dinner Friday night through breakfast on Sunday. There are 14 bunkbeds in the bunkhouse. The mattresses are not the flimsy, cheapy kind. They are actual thick bed mattresses and are very comfortable.
Weekend Day Cropper - regularly $140pp SCS Rate - $95pp
Includes five meals and 48 hours of crop time starting at 3pm Friday through 3pm Sunday.
Saturday only - regularly $80pp SCS Rate - $35pp
Includes three meals and 15 hours of crop time starting at 9am Saturday through midnight.
What are we going to do all day?
A HUGE Shoe Box Swap, eat and have fun! Everyone who comes should plan to participate. Bring a shoebox with all the supplies for 40 people to make your card or craft.
How do I sign up?
Any SCS member can come. All you have to do is post on this thread that you want on �the list�. We have a maximum of 40 spots available---first come, first serve!

I'd love to go - but Joel might have to travel through the fall - so I don't want to sign up until I know for sure he'll be in town. So - I'll keep an eye on this thread, and if there are still spots close to the date and he's around, I'm all over it! :-)

When I posted the thread, I wasn't sure if Karmen would be offering the overnight spots. I just got word from her that she will be giving the same deal. Let me know if you are signing up for and overnighter, daycropper, or Saturday Only position. In order to do the overnight spots, we will need at least 8 people signed up to stay overnight. Thanks!

Oh my gosh I didn't even think of that, that I could do that, but I am selfish and always want to keep them to myself cuz they are always sooooo good!

I just attached the FAQ, card guidelines, and registration form files to the original post. Be sure to read them all! There is a change in the card guidelines for this event. You are now allowed to include embossing as part as your card. There are tons of outlets at Lone Star, so it won't be a problem. Just remember that you only have 10 minutes to make your card!

I couldn't find anything on the door prize - is that also Christmas themed? We have a charity run on 24Oct (my sister is our team captain) and the marathon (or half marathon, in my case!) on 15Nov so I cannot wait until the last minute ... but I still can't wait!!!!
I've already started planning my card, and it's looking rather "flat." I don't think I'll have any bulky embellishments on my card. Hopefully that is okay with everyone - flat cards will be easier and cheaper to mail, right? :-)

WOW! You're doing a half marathon! That's amazing! I have it listed on my bucket list. I did a triathlon and got to mark that one off, but I am scared to do a half-marathon-----esp. since I HATE to run! LOL!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, hit me with your suggestions. I'm always afraid to buy things like nesties cuz I never know if the winner has a big shot, and I never know what stamps someone will like or not like........ Suggest away!
So wish I can come but with CHA trip in Southern CA in January, that's just too much traveling for me. :( I know you guys will have a fabulous time (again!)
