Hello Laides! Well, summer is almost over and soon the kids will be going back to school which will give me some more time to spend on my crafting and splitcoast of course, so I figured it's time for another card swap.
I really love CAS (or Clean & Simple) cards, so I've decided to host another, yep another CAS swap, but this time my swap is for CAS (clean & simple cards) Christmas cards. You can make any Christmas card you wish, you can use any brand of stamps, just as long as your card is a Christmas or winter theme.
A CAS card should have fewer layers (sometimes just a card base) and a clean design. This is not to say that your card can not have layers or embellishments, but just remember to limit them. Any techniques that you use should be easy or simple (no advanced techniques). Your cards should be quick and easy to make.

I hope no one minds, but I'd like to request that your swap cards are from a non-smoking home. I'm sorry that I have to mention this, but I have received cards in my previous swaps that had a very strong smoke odor.

Description-This swap is for full cards (4 1/4 x 5 1/2), not card fronts- envelopes not required. You may sign up for as many spots as you would like, but please make a different card for each spot.
Quantity-
5 + 1, You will not get one of your own back, so make sure you make an extra for yourself. The +1 is for the hostess.
Vendor Products-
Feel free to use any stamps you wish. NVR for embellishments or cardstock, but please use quality cardstock (no typing paper, no construction paper, etc.) Recipes are not required, but please put your name and SCS name on a post it on the back of your card so we know who to thank!
Deadline-
Please have in my hands no later than 011/10/2009. I would like to have them swapped and back in the mail by 11/16/2009. I'm going to be really strict about the deadline. Any swaps received late will be returned unswapped.
Mailing Instructions-
Please place cards in a zip lock bag for waterproof purposes. Write the name of the swap, your SCS name, and your real name on front of bag or on a piece of paper and place in bag.
Swap return
(*please be sure to include the correct amount of return postage*)- Please include self-addressed stamped envelope. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount used to mail it to me.
Please include 2 additional stamps to insure enough postage on return swaps. Additional postage will be returned if I do not need it. If you prefer Priority mail, please include one $4.95 priority stamp and self-addressed priority label. I can provide the priority envelope.
Please do not send metered postage (it is only good for the date on the label)
