Hi Jen or Daven! I've noticed several people asking in the threads as well as on the homepage this question : When you will announce the winners of the Australian Bush Fire non raffle ? I'd like to know too! Thanks!
Let's shoot for Wednesday! When we extended the deadline, we didn't factor the boss man's vacation in. Yikes! I'll post something on the homepage. ... Thanks for the reminder!

And The Winners Are...
I'm happy to say that the list is done and Jenn is entering the winners into each posting in the prize gallery. In the meantime, I've attached the list itself to this post. The winners will be contacted directly by the prize donors to arrange shipping/delivery of the prizes. Congratulations to the winners! There were several ultra-lucky peeps won multiple prizes!
Our sincere thanks to everyone who participated... together we raised $3715 USD for the victims of the Victorian Bushfires. And thank you for your patience while we worked through vacation schedules, retrieving information from Paypal, organizing the lists and drawing the winners, etc. A bit more time consumming that anticipated, but we're finally there!
That's so awesome!! THANK YOU EVERYONE who donated items and/or money to help this cause!! and a HUUUUUGE Thanks to Lisa H. and Debbie P. for organizing this event, we know that was a ton of work on your part, as well as to Jenn B.
I'm excited to send the prizes I donated to their winners, but I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to contact them. Just their names isn't going to get me all that far... there's no user name or email. Is there more info forthcoming, or is there something else I am supposed to know? I kinda don't want to mess up!
Just a bit of info. Those who have donated a prize will be contacted shortly with their winner's name and email. There are lots of emails to get out but we will endeavour to do so ASAP.

Hi Emily... I just PM'd you with the contact information.
I just wanted to thank everyone involved in this effort....Lisa, Debbie and also Jenn. I am mainly a lurker, due to being partial caretaker to my father, but hope to become more involved one day. I have learned so much from everyone here and appreciate your generosity in sharing tutorials and techniques.
I am especially impressed with what a caring community this is. Of course, when I first saw the information on the Bushfire non-raffle, I had to jump in. Winning a prize was actually the last thing on my mind, I only wish I could have given more to help those touched by this terrible tragedy.
As it turns out though, I won not one but two prizes. I have been contacted by both of my prize donors and am excitedly awaiting the arrival of my prizes. The last thing I won was when I was 16 years old (a few years ago, lol) when my name was drawn for a 30 day supply of Sunbeam Bread. Oh Joy!! You can imagine how excited I am over these wins!
Again, thanks to the organizers and helpers, and special thanks to the prize donors. You all are indeed a special group of people.

Just wanted to say that I think the SCS community is special and their generosity knows no bounds, what an amazing total.
I would like to add my small thank you to all those involved - the SCS team for their time and energy organising and all the gererous gift donators; what incredible people you are.
Finally thank you for giving me the opportunity to donate with the added bonus of winning too ... very suprised but very delighted :eek: :-D
