I thought it was somewhere HERE on splitcoast that I saw someone who had used prescription bottles (filled with M&Ms) with a cute poem about scrapper's block....ie., eat a red for inspiration, eat a blue one for this, etc. etc.
I did a search for the word "bottle" in General Stamping forum. Did find a reference to putting M&Ms in a pill bottle as a get well gift. But did not find a cute poem for stamper's block.
Here is the poem I used last year. I just put the small bag of M & M's in a baggie with the poem attached (this was for family). I would think you could use any container you want to hold the M & M's.
I know this may sound like common sense, but if you are using a bottle like that, make sure its very clean inside! Wouldn't want someone getting drug remnants on their M&M. Especially if it an old Viagra bottle! Could you just imagine???

and you all thought those rumors about green m&m's were false.....
1. Misplaced Christmas Card List: 1 blue tablet

3. Last minute shopping: 1 yellow tablet
4. Alone for Christmas: 1 orange tablet
5. Pet pulls over the Christmas tree: 2 red tablets
6. Directions for toys in Chinese: 1 of each color
7. Received your credit card statement: eat whats left in the bag

I went to my local pharmacy and told them what I was doing and they just gave me about 15 new bottles to use. I printed a label on my computer and attached it. I even had small labels for the warnings. Here is the label and the small warnings. I gave them out at a crop we had. Flip Flop Foozies is the name of our group.

Do you know how many times I have stood with empty prescriptionbottle in hand, wondering if there wasn't something I could do with it? Where were y'all when I needed you??? LOL!
These are great ideas, and I will be saving prescription bottles from now on. (Oh good, one more thing to collect -- GROAN!)
Print these on labels and attach to medicine bottles filled with M&Ms:

Did you really get all that onto a pill bottle?
Great idea, thanks
Kathy
Oh, here I am - the person who doesn't throw anything away. I have lots of small prescription bottles from Walgreens. I would be happy to trade them for something like card stock, brads, etc. If anyone is interested, PM me and we can work out a deal (I'll have to count them).
This is great. My Mom takes about 15 pills a DAY, so I'm tossing out these bottles left and right. What a cute idea. Just make sure not to use the child proof caps!!!

My poem
Prescription for Holiday Survival
If your feeling mellow, take a yellow.
If your feeling mean, take a green.
If you feel half dead, take a red.
When it's all about you take a blue.
Nothing rymes with orange so eat them and feel better.
I did an M&M's thing up for my sisters birthday last year, it was which colors to take for perimemopause symptoms, she loved it and she really loved that I gave her 2lbs of M&M's (wanted to make sure she had enough) with the card. I will try and find where I put the list of what colors where for which symptoms and get back to you with it, unless someone else beats me too it.
DARN! I take several prescription meds, and I just return the empty ones when I get refills....I thought I was being "green" to have the pharmacy reuse those bottles for me. Now I'm just mad at myself--from now on I'm KEEPING those bottles!!!
