CAT's 2010 Mini Tear-Off & Coaster Calendar Template
many have enjoyed and commented on my previous year's calendars, so i've updated it for next year.
this calendar can be used to make the mini tear-off calendars mounted on 3x5 or 4x6 cardstock and inserted in the magnetic frames. others have used this template for calendars to be added to a 4x4 or larger coasters and other smaller media.
the template prints two calendars on three sheets of regular paper. be sure to review carefully before cutting, as several months span six weeks instead of five; you want to make sure you don't cut the months too short.
cutting instructions are included in the template but if you have any questions, just ask. the calendar, when trimmed, is 3.25" wide, by 2.5" tall. i have one in my gallery if you want to see the size in a 4"x6" frame.
you can find my 2009 templates HERE, and i have plenty of other calendar templates posted.
i hope you find this template useful! if you'd like, add links to your projects in this thread so others can see how you've used this calendar.

Thanks Cat for posting this! I was feverishly working on my calendar gifts on Christmas Eve, and I swore to my husband that I would make them early this year, and I think I will start soon! LOL!

I love spending as much time as possible in my Color Studio
Thank you so much for the calendar template.
I was fixing to make one the hard way, I make them for my granddaughters to sell as fundraising at school. But I was paying a dollar each at Michaels.
Thanks so much for posting the 2010 calendars already, maybe I can get a head start on them. I used the 2009 one last year to make the coaster calenders and then bound the 6 coasters together with my BIA.
Here is the thing I made with the mini calendars I purchased, but, this template would work great with just a little resizing--and maybe not! You could just adjust your 'scrapling'. This is actually a card with a Happy New year sentiment on the inside. I mailed them to all my teacher friends. I am retired {did my 30 years!} but sending cards to teachers is my mission now--they love it an need it
How do most of you attach the calendar to the coaster. Is there some kind of glue that you use that you can peel each month off, or do you use some kind of clip to hold them on.
I use a really strong tape runner, or sticky strip. I didn't attach mine to a coaster, I did an altered frame with it. I have a glue glider tape gun thingy that I used. I used the sticky strip to attach to other altered frame I have made too. Since I just printed it on regular printer paper, it isn't very heavy either. Hope this helps.
I have a crazy question. Does anyone know why I am only getting the days and nothing in black? I have printed other things and my black ink isn't out. I really want to print the calendars.

very weird. the days are black ink too, so that shouldn't be it. is your printer set to "black & white" or "color" printing? are you using the MSWord file, or the PDF?

i think there's some posts in the technique forum about this... there's a special glue you can buy to glue the tops of the pieces of paper together and i remember people had some great luck with it. HTH
My sister has an envelope glue at work and she said that they got it from an office supply store. It is a small town store, so not sure which of the larger stores carry it. Stampin' Up use to carry it but they no longer have it. I did get it off of Ebay last year, so you might try that.
