COMPLETE Not so secret tote swap

This is a not so secret swap.

Due by Jan. 20th!

When sign ups are complete you will be assigned your partner on the thread so you can ask questions to help with your selections for them.

This is a one on one swap so please don't flake! Splitcoast has rules about flaking on secret sister swaps.

Here is what you will need to do:
1. Choose a tote bag, (not a paper gift bag)
2. Add something sweet (like candy, cookies etc)
3. Add something cozy (like toasty socks, gloves, scarf)
4. Find out a little something about your partners paper crafting habits and add at least two appropriate items.
5. Create a card to add to the package.
6. One thing that is a total surprise.
7. Snowman

Be sure to mail on time so your secret sister won't be disappointed for the holidays.

Who will join me?
Swap partners: You will send to the person right after you on the list. The last person on the list sends to the first person on the list.

I like this idea. I will wait to see if others respond.

Jabauer 10-30-2013 04:00 AM

Let's see if we can get some swappers today

StampinGoodDeeds 10-30-2013 06:52 AM

I love the idea, Janice, you know that, as we have both hosted these in the past! But I'm concerned about the due date... maybe too close to Christmas with all else going on... wondering how many will join because of that?
Ironically I had just unpacked some of the totes I have from the past tote swaps and love them. I'm in if you can get enough participants, or if you move the due date out to maybe January or February sometime.
Question: Do the tote, warm item, ornament have to be handmade?

Joan7356 10-30-2013 07:19 AM

Great idea....

Caraquena 10-30-2013 08:47 AM

I love this idea

Jabauer 10-30-2013 10:58 AM

If I moved the due date to January 20th and changed the ornament to a snowman would that work better for everyone?

Quilling_Queen 10-30-2013 01:00 PM

I'd like a spot please.

Thanks

StampinGoodDeeds 10-30-2013 01:34 PM

Would be fine for me as I said, as long as you get enough interest.

Jeziboo 10-31-2013 06:53 AM

Janice, can the items be home made?

SkyNacho 10-31-2013 07:01 AM

Subbing for now... any idea when you want to close sign ups?

russnzella 10-31-2013 09:23 AM

I'll join! I've been sort of sitting out swaps lately but this one sounds just too fun to pass up! US only please. Question though - does the tote have to be made or can it be purchased? And is there a minimum size?

Thanks!

StampinGoodDeeds 10-31-2013 11:11 AM

I'm in, but still wanted to know: Do the tote, cozy item, and snowman have to be handmade?

StampinGoodDeeds 10-31-2013 11:20 AM

Questions I'd like to know from a NSSS:

Favorite Colors?
Hobbies/Desired Theme Ideas (i.e. reading, travel, scrapbooking, shoes, games, etc.)?
Favorite Treats or anything you don't like/eat (any allergies)?
Paper Crafting Favorites/Wish List for ideas?
Any particular likes?
Any particular dislikes?
Any thing else about you that would help me to put together a wonderful tote+ for you?

ladylovestostamp 10-31-2013 11:20 AM

Will you be listed a survey to fill out? This is on your list of what to send

?????? At a "just thinking about it" stage.
