Morning~

wooohoo, get to start shopping........ hmmm, do shoes count? LOL

I only subscribe to Paper Crafts.

Does anyone know how to get playdoh out of carpet? It was drizzling and rainy on saturday, so I bought the grandkids wayyyyyy too much Hey - they had fun.

I'm hoping a stiff brush will get it up once it dries.

Then I will have to get the chocolate pudding out. How can a 7 year old get a little pot of choc. pudding EVERYWHERE??????

Not a clue here Karen, but Pinterest sounds like a good idea .I would have to google it also.

QOTD: The only subscription I have right now is to PaperCrafts. I LOVE magazines though and would subscribe to lots of them if I could. Cricut, creating keepsakes, so many to choose from.....

QOTD: I subscribe to Family Fun, Cooking Light and my dads gets me National Geographic (I do not read it all that often). My Little Miss also gets 2 different kids versions of NG too. I am not sure there are any that I would want to add to that. I have not found a good crafting magazine that I like enough to subscribe.

QOTD: I have a subscription to Fitness magazine on my iPad. It's a lot better than buying it at the newsstand for three reasons: 1. It's more Eco-friendly, 2. Less clutter in my house and 3. There are workout videos embedded in the magazine!

I do like magazines to take to the beach in the summer....Real Simple Magazine, Chatelaine and HGTV magazine.

I always froze play doh then used a stiff brush to get it out of the carpet, then to get any remaining color out use some carpet shampoo full strength on the spot let sit a few minutes then shampoo as you normally would.

Hello everyone! I'm back from Atlantic City. Just wanted to check in.

I can also say A Cherry on Top is fabulous! I just ordered my SS her things there as well. They are always great. I've never had a problem.

I don't get any mags in print unless I happen to be in them.

Yeah, it's pretty awesome. I also keep all my recipes on it now too. I have an app that let's you import recipes from websites into your cookbook with literally, the touch of a button! It's funny, I have virtually gone paperless in every aspect of my life, even my classroom, but I love paper crafts! I don't even do any digital scrapbooking! Go figure! LOL!

I don'tsuscribe to any magazines, but when I go to the grocery store I seem to find some paper crafting ones I get.

But there really are too many advertisments in them these days.

Hi. I'm trying to get caught up posting in all of my swaps tonight. I checked out my SS's info last night and have been checking out all the sites you all have mentioned...I have some serious shopping to do!

I think I've only answered 2 of the QOTDs, here are my other answers"
OTD - When you are crafting - what is playing in the background?
The radio or tv

QOTD - How did you arrive at your screen name?
It was my first Yahoo ID way back when I first signed on the internet

QOTD... How did you become a paper crafter? Where did you start?
I answered this and the one about comfort food.

QOTD? Household chore to get rid of forever?
Picking up after my husband and cleaning the bathroom!

QOTD? Consultant for anything?
No, with the health issues I have we rarely have enough extra money around to buy the demo kit. Plus, I'm too fickle to stick to one brand...I love playing with supplies from all different companies.

QOTD? Favorite Magazine?
I really like Paper Crafts Mag., and Real Simple. I subscribe to Paper Crafts, but can usually find a coupon for Real Simple so it's cheaper to buy as I go.

I think I'm all caught up. NOW, it's time to SHOP!

It's called My Recipe Book, I think it's free. If not, then it was only $1 or $2.

So...my ipod nano touch (little one) died tonight...and I couldn't go a day without my music...So...I went to get the ipod nano (new one) longer thinner...a little more than I wanted to spend..but at least I got my tunes...I use it to work out...

Only one thing I wish...it had a clip like my last one did..I think ALL ipods should have clip...would be SO convenient

I love my iPod shuffle for working out. It's tiny, so it doesn't get in my way and clips onto my clothes. Plus it was free for me! It was a gift from my mom . But, only $50 to buy one.

Hmmmm, I guess I can send cards with no worries! Lol
Pet Peeves....
Toilet paper under, I'm an over person. I hate when people leave 1 or 2 squares! I hate that no one knows what the dish washer is for. I hate when wet towels lay on bedroom floors, when people stop right in traffic patterns to stand and talk. I hate that people text my husband all hours of day and night just because they can. Texting and driving, empty boxes left for someone else to throw out. When cell phones are more important then the conversation you are in. I'm sure more will come to me.....

I never pay attention to the TP, other than to make sure there is some! My biggest pet peeve is not putting the cordless phone back on the base. My DH does this all the time and it drives me crazy when the phone rings and I can't find it! Or when I want ruse the phone and it's dead! Or when it puts the phone on the counter when he's done with it, when the base is right above it on the wall! Is it really that hard to extend your arm three inches to put it on the base?!? Other than that, he's an amazing husband

ok, I can't believe I forgot about this one - and one of the guys just said it.

Using the word AT, at the end of a sentence/question - i.e. Where are you at?

NO NO NO NO. The correct is Where are you? DH now will call me and say - "where you b?"

I used to answer - "between the a and the t"
