As you all noticed... No PM just yet. I did not get a chance to. This week is VBS and then a mission trip to Nashville this weekend. So, I will do my best to send out a PM with some info in the next few days.
Also, Due to my busy schedule... I will be PM'ing my email address to each of you just in case you have a question or need anything. I want to make sure you are always able to get in touch with me in a timely manner.
FYI: in the next few weeks I will be sending your groups Addresses to you. Then you will be ready to start swapping in August! Before I can do that I need to receive info from a couple of participants.
Hi everyone! Friends I am still on the run... I shall just be at work for another hour and then I am on my way to a weekend Mission Trip. This week was VBS at church... between work, VBS, fighting a migraine for two days, prepping for this weekend, and prepping for my son to get his tonsils out next week...I am about worn out. I am reaching down deep for this weekend! I think the excitement should give me the energy I need!
I must say I am quite thankful all this craziness is going on this month and not next month when we kick-off our first month of this swap!!!
I promise before surgery on Tuesday I will PM you gals! If you need anything or have any questions I will pop in on my phone and check PM's so just send me a PM. Hugs & Blessings... T~
Taking Friday and Sat. off this week can't wait. It's hard to get someone to fill in and when I do I take advantage of it. Too hot to do anything outside today the temps will feel like 105 the next few days.
I just got a weather text... It said (the short version) SNY HI LWR 90's. HIGHEST HEAT INDEX READINGS 101
THANK YOU for your prayers & well wishes for Curtis! He is doing ok. He's hurting some but the meds are helping. He's eating & drinking pretty good. Poor kid was starving after only having liquids yesterday! His Daddy is his nurse today! I have only had a few texts and a phone call from each of them- so I think that's really good IMO.
Just updated myself on post#1 and also updated my wish list.
Grandkids are keeping me busy. The two youngest have been to Boy/Girl scout camp for the first time and really enjoyed it. The oldest grandson has been given a wonderful opportunity to participate in Young Christian Men's Baseball Mission trip. He leaves for the Czech Republic and South Africa on Monday. This weekend he goes to a ball tournament in Florida- he leaves at 2am tonight!! What a time to depart! He will be back on Sunday or sooner depending how the team does and then it is off again on Monday. He is a bit nervous about going out of country without parents as it is a first for him but I am sure he will do just fine.
Stay hydrated and cool everyone! Don't forget to wear sunscreen!
