Dear Secret Santa or I mean Elf,

This year I truly feel like I been blessed. My older son who has Aspergers Graduated from High School and is now attending college. He is doing quite well, I am so proud of him. My daughter is a senior this year and got a free photo shoot from one of the photographers here in town. She is excited about it. Then I have my youngest who is usually a loner and he has joined the Speech and Debate team at school and also the science club. This is exciting to see my child branch out. They are all doing great and in good health. Now I got a special birthday/anniversary present from my DH and it was a ticket to fly over to Minnesota and meet Sassy, the wonderful host of this swap. We went to the Scrapfest at the Mall of America and it was awesome! They (Hubby and Daughter) took me all over and even put me up for the week without kicking me out, lol. It was a great Birthday! The best I must say. My Mom is recovering well, about this time last year I was taking care of her because she fell down my basement steps and broke her back. She is doing wonderful. Nice to see her out and about. Ok now to get on with my wish list, let me see..........

Timholtz:

Distressed Paints (I have: Victorian Velvet & Wild Honey)
Distressed Stains (I have: Antique Bronze, Peeled Paint, Picket Fence, Spun Sugar, Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Dusty Concord, Brushed pewter, and Aged Mahagony)

Ok, I hope this list does not overwhelm you because it really overwhelmed me typing it out, lol. I just wanted to give as much different items as I could so it would not be a difficult list.

Oh yeah if you get a bigger item on my wish list please feel free to give me coal/rocks for the rest of the days. I would not mind at all.

PS: Secret Elf: I've been good 98% of the time this year.....okay maybe a little less.

Having fun and being creative is what it's all about.

To All A Good NIght........................

Dear Secret Elfie,

I've just moved into a tiny tiny apartment where one room acts as my living/bed room and of course the other available room acts as my craft room My craft room is well supplied but the rest of the house is sparce. I am trying to decorate in a primitive theme. So a decoration might be nice.

As far as crafting I'm a huge stamper and I've been obsessed with embossing lately. I would love different embossing powders any texture or color is welcome. My favorite manufacturer is Stampin' Up! and I have been drooling over their single large stamps (the butterfly and sunflower). I also have a Big Shot and don't have many of their die cuts. I would love to try out a Copic marker or two. But understand if it's not in an elf's budget.

I like the Prima flowers, antique looking brads, nature themed items (stamps, paper).

I love chocolate - any and alllll chocolate Oh! I have 2 kitties too. Jigzy (14yo) calico female manx that loves her fabric mousies and Stormy (6yo) grey male manx who loves his catnip.

Only thing that I have enough of is stickers. I love to look at them but never use them.

Thank you so much!

Lee Ann (SavvyScrapping) - Also a non-smoker

When I go to a class. I store my items in a bag from Stampin Up but did have one from Michael's. It has a lot of space and pockets to store these items.

Scratched cornea?---very painful--when my son was a baby, I was changing his diaper and he scratched my right eye--it was like someone put acid in it--burned and wet with tears--I could not see out of it--and you have to see an eye doctor--plus, they give you ointment to rub into the eye...it stops the pain and starts to heal....but it's very tender and can rip open again--so open your eyes carefully the next week--I wish you well--

Eye doctors get golfers on Monday's with this problem!--(branches from trees)

Dear Secret Elf -

Here is a little bit about myself. I am married to a really wonderful man (2nd time & last time), I have 5 kids - Jonathan 18, Justin 16, Nicholas 11, Noah 6, and my princess Emma 4. I am a SAHM. I am a SU demonstrator, getting ready for the holiday craft shows. We also have 2 dogs & 2 cats. When the kids are all at school, I have just about 3 hours to myself, in that time I watch my shows on the DVR and create things. That's my time for me - thank goodness or I would go crazy!

So, what would I like for Christmas?

Let's see here are a few things -

Tombow runner permanent adhesive
ATG gun/refills
Washi tape
Bling - any colors
Ribbon - Chevron from SU - any color
Cardstock from SU, any color
DSP - any from SU, even retired
Tim Holtz distress paints - maybe a green
Bubble mailers - 5x7ish size
RSVP pens - kids are always taking mine
Buttons - vintage type colors/style
red line tape - sticky strip
foam pop dots
Handmade items
Embellishments - any from SU, even retired ones.

Just surprise me! Thank you Secret Elf!!!!

I had a scratched cornea last January. It was caused by putting on a shirt that still had a tag on and the tag hit my eye. I had to use the ointment for a long time.

Primitive Decor? The best way to explain it is to show you. It's like a country type decor.

Good Morning peeps! How is everyone doing today?? Its a bright sunshiny day here in GA! A little warmer then a crisp fall day but Ill take it! I love the sunshine and when it starts getting cooler!!

Dear Secret Elf,

Im looking forward to hopefully a wonderful new and exciting year!! The past few years havent been so much fun... went through a divorce (no kids), moved to different state..then to a different city, had to leave my dog of 8-9 years behind...BOOOHOOOO Trying to find my place and what Im suppose to be doing in life. UGHH Then just recently my parents who Im very close with and lived close by decided to move about 6 hours away!!! So Im here in a state with no family trying to make a go of it.. we will see how it goes. LOL

I love to cruise the galleries and pinterest and see all the wonderful creations people make. My taste and style has evolved to a clean and simple type or the sponging and scene building cards. I love making one layer cards or flat cards. Im not into the vintage, grunge, bulky, or over embellished card. I love the less is more approach on embellishing. One of the big things I like is sponging backgrounds, scenes, using silhouette stamps etc. I love coloring images.. using die cuts on my cards.. etc..

Ill try to give you lots of examples and ideas of things I would like and then you can go from there. I want this to be fun for you.. so Im good with one larger item off my list then the rest tiny little things.. or a few of the smaller items off my list to make up the $$ then things from your personal stash or handmade cards by you.. If you have something off my list thats in usable condition your personal stash by all means RECYCLE!! I dont mind things being opened or used. Just please dont send me any of the items on my dislike list. Thanks!

Here we go... fa la la la la......

12 ..Stamp Storage Pockets... Im a very neat stamper..everything has to have its place. So I love to organize all the time. Constantly looking for better ways to organize my stamps and dies. So im very interested in these from Jennifer McQuire Stamp pockets
Stamp Storage Pockets I Avery Elle

11 . .. Sheets of White cardstock ( PTI, Ginak heavy weight, Neenah & Xpress) I have lots but would love to try this brand *Simon Says Stamp WHITE CARDSTOCK 120 LB Base Weight

10 ... Sour/Sweet/Gummy Type candies.. I try to not eat to many candies because I limit my High Fructose Corn Syrup intake due to my Rheumatoid Arthritis but I have a weakness for Swedish Fish, Sour Patch Kids, Hot Tamales...YUM I do like Jordan Almonds as well!!

9 ..Sheets of Shimmery, glittery type cardstock to cut dies out of.. similar to this Sparkle! by jenmitchell - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

OK. I just mailed off my Halloween Secret Sister Swap package so it's time to sign up for a Christmas swap. US only please. I'll do my letter in a day or two if that's OK? Guess I should mention I'm a a non smoking home (although I did smoke at one time neither my husband nor I have smoked in over five years and never in the home we are in now).

Hello all!
Going shopping today a in a town that I only get to about twice a year. Which means I get to go to Michaels which I always enjoy! Got coupon ready! Also going to go to Best Buy. My TV died a month ago and I have one I am using but it is an older one and won't hook up to a DVD player. I have lots of DVDs and miss that TV!
Have a great Saturday everyone!
