Default hmmm, for me tough question

I don't have a particular style. I'm fairly simple. Love charms though. Necklace length 16" No plastic or acrylic. Metals like silver or pewter ,as long as nickel and lead free. I think that's about what my style is...it also depends on my mood.

First chattery question...

What is your jewelry style, preference in colors/materials/themes/etc, and size for bracelets, rings, necklace lengths?

Jewelry question: I usually wear simple / classic styles(silver tone), but during the holidays anything goes!! Necklaces - long (I'm tall), bracelets - 7-71/2 inches, ears - pierced.

Car Tatoo- Tall dad wearing a law enforcement uniform or badge, Mom (Me) holding scissors (teacher & crafter), even taller 17 yo son looking down @ his phone, 15 yo son holding a snake - yes a snake- I just gave in recently, & my almost 13 yo son on a bike. Also, we have 2 big dogs & a brand new kitty. I don't have that on my trailblazer - I have cut a vinyl fleur de lis (not sure if that's spelt right) from my Cricut. A lot of people mistake me for being a New Orleans Saints fan - that's far from the truth - I'm a big 49ers fan! But the reason I have that symbol is because my family is very involved in Boy Scouts. My husband is an Assistant Scout Master, I'm the merit badge counselor coordinator, my middle son is a life scout (one step away from eagle), and my youngest son is a first class scout. In fact we all just got back from scout camp last week - they were gone for 2 weeks - I only went up for family night - that was enough for me. LOL! My oldest had Aspergers (a form of autism) & has no interest in scouts, so we don't make him go to everything.

On a side note, my 21st anniversary is today - wanna know how I'm celebrating? I'm @ a scrapbooking retreat with friends. That's love! LOL! Actually we went to Reno last weekend and celebrated.

Yes, I like chatty. LOL!

Hi ladies!! I am finally getting a chance to check in here. Life has been crazy busy lately. No crafty time for me lately, but I am hoping to get something done on my next day off. I miss it and it seems like it has been forever since my last project. Time is flying by these days. Hope you are all enjoying your summer

For jewelry, I don't wear too much, mostly because of my job and the potential for injury. When I do wear jewelry, it's lots of different lengths. For the sticker, me, my hubby and two small dogs!

Chatter is fine, although sometimes I can't keep up and I rarely chat alot myself. Handmade jewellry question...I"m flexible, I guess but I don't wear alot. I have my "favorites" that tend to get worn all the time. If anything, a bracelet I guess.

As for the "sticker" thing, I don't like stickers on vehicles (neither does my husband), but we would be a happy couple, a beautiful little girl and two lovably frustrating cats.
you know all kinds of stuff on SCS--

Accckkkk. What a crazy whirlwind couple of days!
And I am sick to boot. boo..

Okay, I have another question...
Would you hang a handmade Item in your house/ or craft room? What is your 'style'???

I would and do, but only in my craft room. I have a clock and a calendar and so many other wonderous treasures from my SS's. But throughout my house, we have hung about 2 things total. We are minimalist. We hate stuff. Strange that I have so much STUFF in my Craft room! Ha. I am earth tones and whimsy, and love storage and functional wall hangings!

I would say I am a minimalist also. Trying to get rid of a lot of stuff because we are thinking about moving next spring.

When it comes to decorating my house, I am traditional mixed with hits of modern. I don't like a lot of clutter, so knickknacks are minimal. I use photos, vases, and candleholders as my knickknacks. I usually display the handmade items i receive in my craft space, depending on what it is.

My studio is in a part of the unfinished basement--we're talking cement walls and floors--had lights and heat installed the minute we moved here. I would say I am contemporary whimsical--not bleak cold contemporary--but fun colors and nothing in my house is perfect! I hold nothing dear except the people in it and of course my chocolate Lab "Muddy" and my craft room--bulldoze the rest! If my SS made something alternative--I would gladly decorate my craft room with it--next to the Sex and the City movie poster and the "New Cherry Flavor Coolatta" poster!!! hahaha Freebies they were going to throw away at comcast and dunkies! haha

Nicole--you shipped? Yikes...looking at our ship date! Good for you!

We went out for fresh fish at an ocean restaurant tonight--the coolness of autumn is in the air tonight! Lovin' it!

Time to pop in my movie and create! Enjoy your night everyone!

I'm sur I would hang things in my home if it worked for the space. But I also am a minimalist at heart. I hate to have to clean things, so less is better.

What a great weekend I"ve had, 2 family reunions in 2 days. It was good to connect with my cousins again. There was much laughter, hugs and kisses at both.

Rachel--ha-ha...can you tell I c/p the definition of Zentangle...Google it...it's fun...looks great on both white/black tiles (small heavy card stock squares with rounded corners) and it's basically doodling!

But the thing about Zentangle is you start with a piece of the design...just one easy loop or square...then each step is just one more piece added to it--you'd be surprised--I took a couple of classes and really enjoyed it..it's all broken down to individual sections--they you connect them...fun!

Speaking of doodling--I used to draw a person's profile--basic notebook boring history class doodling...and either my doodles would have a huge forhead or triple chins and a nose that would serve the purpose of a coat hook! So, I cannot draw worth a tart either!!!
