Happy Wednesday!

Hope you all are becoming familiar with your SS wish lists. If you have any questions for your SS you want me to pose to her, send me a PM.

Here's a question for today:
Do you like a chatty thread or a more quiet thread?

Okay. . . I need help deciding what to make for a handmade item for my SS!!! I know many of you had this on your list. And I personally love to get and give handmadeness.

First chattery question...

What is your jewelry style, preference in colors/materials/themes/etc, and size for bracelets, rings, necklace lengths?

Lol, you should answer as well.

I don't wear much jewelry. But I'm minimalistic, not huge flash stuff. Ring sizes, I have no idea, but have always wanted a toe ring. I'm pretty small, but have no idea size. I'm thinking 16" necklace would hang nicely for button down shirt. Ring finger is 4.25 but no ideas on the others. But both hands have rings that don't get removed. I'm not much of a help in that department.

Thanks, Rachel, for posting a question! I love the help!

Jewelry... always bracelets! Love them and love the colors of the ocean and periwinkle, too. Silver is my top choice, too. Bracelet size for me is a minimum of 7 1/2". I love rings and can make almost any size work on some finger. As for necklaces it is about a 15" I prefer.

Ha.. and I am not playing ...

I LOVE a chatty thread!

And I have a small wrist but like a dangle bracelet, so I am around a 7. I love toe rings too!!! I have had the same one on for over 15 years!!! ha.

I love earth tones and religious jewelry and I only really wear silver. But will wear anything really. I boney fingers too.. I think I wear a 6 or so.

jewelry style is simple. I wear earrings and the occasional bracelet.
I wear mostly silver based stuff, love stones and flowers
I'd say size 8 or 9 for bracelet

GREAT question Rachel!

Okay... everyone keep answering my first question... but now I have a second question.

Let's Pretend I was going to make you one of those vinyl stickers for the back of your stylish mini van... you know of your whole 'family'.

What would I need to know to make it...

MINE.
I would need an Adorable Hulk husband (James), A wonder-woman Momma (me), an adopted teenage iron man (Ricky), A 4th grade Captain America (James Paul) and a spunky 4 year old Ballerina with a cape! Ha. (Arelia) No pets.

I'm allergic to cats as well, don't do great with dogs but they aren't as bad.

I'm a stroke survivor, so smoke just irritates me in other ways.

My sister designs jewelry--I have all kinds of bracelets w/o any necklaces!! Boo hiss! haha I love long necklaces since I am 5.10...don't like anything around my neck--nodda chocker style necklace girl...

I just got home from a (10) person SU workshop!!! Yes, I am zonked--but I got some nice orders for the hostess and need to find out when Stampin' Up will have their Envy punch on sale!!! I brought my WRMK's envy punch and 7 of the ladies want to buy it!

Chatty enough? Wait...there's more!!!

It's because you put an 8 and a ) right next to each other. It automatically turns it into a . If you don't want it to, you'd need a space 8 ).

Same thing as : ) and ; ) and : D

Chatter is fine, although sometimes I can't keep up and I rarely chat alot myself. Handmade jewellry question...I"m flexible, I guess but I don't wear alot. I have my "favorites" that tend to get worn all the time. If anything, a bracelet I guess.

As for the "sticker" thing, I don't like stickers on vehicles (neither does my husband), but we would be a happy couple, a beautiful little girl and two lovably frustrating cats.

Love chatter - one if the reason I participate in swaps - it's fun to learn about my fellow crafters!

Jewelry question: I usually wear simple / classic styles(silver tone), but during the holidays anything goes!! Necklaces - long (I'm tall), bracelets - 7-71/2 inches, ears - pierced.

Car Tatoo- Tall dad wearing a law enforcement uniform or badge, Mom (Me) holding scissors (teacher & crafter), even taller 17 yo son looking down @ his phone, 15 yo son holding a snake - yes a snake- I just gave in recently, & my almost 13 yo son on a bike. Also, we have 2 big dogs & a brand new kitty. I don't have that on my trailblazer - I have cut a vinyl fleur de lis (not sure if that's spelt right) from my Cricut. A lot of people mistake me for being a New Orleans Saints fan - that's far from the truth - I'm a big 49ers fan! But the reason I have that symbol is because my family is very involved in Boy Scouts. My husband is an Assistant Scout Master, I'm the merit badge counselor coordinator, my middle son is a life scout (one step away from eagle), and my youngest son is a first class scout. In fact we all just got back from scout camp last week - they were gone for 2 weeks - I only went up for family night - that was enough for me. LOL! My oldest had Aspergers (a form of autism) & has no interest in scouts, so we don't make him go to everything.

On a side note, my 21st anniversary is today - wanna know how I'm celebrating? I'm @ a scrapbooking retreat with friends. That's love! LOL! Actually we went to Reno last weekend and celebrated.

Yes, I like chatty. LOL!

Amber - a 65lb bassett hound??? omg! lol

that is a tubby for sure.

I would have a big hubby, a short tubby me, 1 tall son with his tall wife, 2 daughters and 1 son. THEN a short tubby daughter with her big hubby, and their 2 dogs.

THEN, I have 1 wee dogger and 5 kitties. whew........

and a partridge in a pear tree.

jlzmom!
21 years - amazing

Amber... I read it as your Bassett Hound being 165 pounds! Thank goodness Karen read it correct.

I can't drive anymore. But if we were to have a vinyl sticker I would want one shaped like a heart with the love of my life, a big man, me shorter than him as a round ball with legs and bright red hair, and our two beautiful little girls - fur babies - one white and the other red.

Rachel - I should put you in charge of the QOTD! You are good!

I do like a chatty thread when I am here but then keeping up with it all when absent is hard - such a lost feeling!

Kathleen - YUMMY! Blueberry Pie!!!

Have a great day, Ladies!

Happy anniversary and many many more.

We celebrated our 40th this year, taking a trip back to Colorado this fall, that's were we went on our honeymoon
