Hi everyone!
No good news here! I've been eating way too much but I've had a wonderful Christmas and I'm not going to beat myself up. I'll get on the scale tomorrow, see what the damage is, and go on from there. We're just about out of goodies at my house, which will help.
Trying to get some friends interested. Can we still join, if we sign up before the end of next week (1/5/13)?
Sure, that is why I put the deadline in January, thought with everyone having weight loss as a resolution I would wait until January to close this round.
I'm glad the holidays are over! I think I did well with my eating but not so well on my treadmill. Just got back home from a trip to Kansas so today I'm back into seriously trying to lose weight.
My daughter, Amber Nicole, has applied for membership and wants to join this group as soon as she gets approved. The only thing is just be sure to pair her up with someone besides me (scrappinwithtammy) LOL
I am so greatful for a new year! I ran to the tiny Shopko nearby today hoping to find something semi-festive to wear to the bar tomorrow for New Year's Eve. My husband is DJing for the night. What a depressing shopping trip, but what a real kick in the pants to keep going and to not half-*** it this year. I can't wait for the time when my stomach doesn't stick out farther than my chest! For the new year, I made a list of lunches that can be taken to school everyday. I normally come home for lunch everyday but then I end up eating more. I can't eat school lunches as that's healthy-eating suicide but I can plan ahead and have filling, healthful lunches cheap from home. The girls and I will also be getting up 30 minutes earlier each morning so that I can exercise and we can all eat breakfast at home (none of us are big morning eaters but skipping isn't an option and eating breakfast at school does not instill healthy habits.) As uncomfortable at the shopping trip was, I feel good about the little bit I've accomplished so far and am motivated to continue the journey.
I have a self challenge heading into New Year's Eve if anyone is interested in joining me. I plan on not treating tomorrow like my last meal on death row. I will continue until the last of 2012 with good habits and make the first day of 2013 a continuation of those habits.

Happy New Year, Ladies. Looking forward to chatting and encouraging each other this year!
I succeeded in staying on track the last day of 2012. I went over points but earned enough activity points excercising and dancing today to balance them out. I only had two diet sodas at the bar tonight and danced for over and hour and a half. Great start to the new year and the new me!
Today I took all my measurments and took a photo in a fitted outfit that I often wear around the house (T shirt and yoga pants...wouldn't be caught dead outside the house!) Every 1st of the month, I'm repeating this to see and graph my progress. Still have that visual of the formal dress I'm going to wear to chaperone Prom this spring.
Wishing all of you a life-changing year full of positive changes and self-discovery.

I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday -- had a gift card and got their basic 8.5x11 white cardstock to use, hope it will work. Also picked up 3 12x12 sheets and I'm planning to put my own twist on the pages, just incorporating my own scrapbooking styles and elements but following her outline of what the topics are and such on the pages.
I didn't get mine done yet but hope to this weekend. I did get my measurements and my photos going though. And have a page of notes I've written to myself. I'm thinking about doing the One Word class with it too, I like that idea, just haven't quite committed to it yet as I'm still thinking about what word I would use.

I don't know but if I could lose a pound for everything dollar of supplies I use up... hey, for even PENNEY of supplies I use up... I'd be a crafting fool and be down to my ideal weight in no time just based on the overflowing amount I have now. Its out of control.
Part of my 2013 goals: $0 spending on crafting with the exception of the basics needed to use up my other items such as tape and glue refills.
