I hope this is not the case. I do like Michael's despite their flaws. I find it easier to shop than Joann's and Hobby Lobby. It's great for a quick trip to pick up something I need immediately.

I agree. I don't care much for the Recollections brand paper, other than the 110-lb white cardstock (which I love very much).

The paper and embellishments seem stale and lower quality.

I love vellum! I don't think it has ever gone out of style. You just have to be creative in how you secure it to your card, since you can see any adhesive through it.
