What are you meaning by a cutting pad? I didn't have a lot of success with that.

I did risk the molding matt (really just a foam mouse pad) and it did not get cut, and did emboss the paper! ^-^

That's what I was thinking. Call Copic and offer to send the pen and the receipt back - see if they'd exchange it for you. Or offer to take pictures and e-mail them so they can see what happened.

My biggest challenge is that I have Copic Ciaos - as they're cheaper than the Sketches. Of course they're perfectly great markers except the ends of them aren't labeled...

Any tips on ciaos?
