I often adhere paper to cardstock with a glue...

I often adhere paper to cardstock with a glue stick and have no problem. I use the glue stick generously. I like it because, like the YES paste, I have some time to move things around.

I regularly remove the wire from wired ribbon. It's easy, and I prefer it unwired on cards. Sometimes, especially at Michael's, the wired seasonal ribbon is the most beautiful in stock.
