When DS had a Hot Wheels birthday, I found a car candy mold and made crayons for the kids. That went over very well. (And is a great use for all those broken, half-used crayons.)

I don't think I saw it mentioned, but it's also much faster if you need to stamp multiple images. I can use a larger mount and place two+ stamps on it and all my stamping is done and looks the same.

Oh, I know that. I've been using unmounted/acrylic mounted stamps now for several years. Either way, it is (should) be the the same rubber die and it shouldn't that much more difficult to attach...
