Rubber scraps

I use them in place of popups...they already have adhesive on one side. If I have long strips, I color them with my Sharpies and use them for birdhouse poles, tree trunks, etc. I've cut them into a...

You can also color them with

Sharpees or other permanent ink and use them as self adhesive embellishments. I've used them as birdhouse poles, tree branches, and flower pots.

You can use dye pads if you let them dry for a few hours. If you are up for a challenge, you can stamp with pigment ink, use chopsticks (or something else) to keep the plastic flat as it shrinks and...

often it is too big for what I am working on. When I have what would be wasted space, I fill it up with pieces of ribbon. If you don't want or need to put big pieces in through it I'd go with the...
