But you want to keep your coloring area pretty wet to allow for better blending of the shades of ink, so I don't know if you want to let your first color dry out before going in with the next.

What she said. I have the 2nd generation Score Pal and use it all the time. The reason I like the SU board less is that it's so dark, it's harder to see where you're working.
