Yup - the PTI cardstock will be too thick for adding an adhesive layer for wafer dies. If you really want to use the PTI cardstock AND have the adhesive layer, you can cut the adhesive layer...

I use them to catch glitter or embossing powder (instead of a piece of paper) - makes getting the stuff back in the jar a lot easier. Learned this little trick through Jennifer Macguire.
