What works best for me is to 'flick' the back...

What works best for me is to 'flick' the back side of the card stock after I've poured on the embossing powder, before I heat set. Then I use a brush if I see any more 'strays'. That seems to get it...

I'm not familiar with that that 'maroon' looks like, but you might want to check out Paper and More or the Paper Mill. They both seem to have lots of colors. HTH

From what I gathered, it will be a 'kit subscription', like My Paper Pumpkin, but the 'kits' will not be paper products but rather other 'crafty kits'. At least that's how I understood the video. HTH
