Stamp on Acetate without Stazon??

I'd love to make more acetate cards, but I hate Stazon because the pads dry out so quickly. Anyone suggest a substitute for putting images onto the acetate? Heck, I don't even mind hand-drawing...

I have definitely made my (cheap-$300) sewing machine need maintenance by using it for cards. I think it would be worthwhile to get a very very cheap sewing machine to do it instead.
