I also use blue painters tape. I stick and lift a few times on my clothing to reduce the tackiness and it works great -- especially for the dies that need to stay in place over a stamped image.

And there are 6 in the pack at the Dollar Tree. They are pretty sturdy, but I'd imagine CTMH's are more sturdy since they were made for paper, not snacks :)
