Actually CTMH ink is specially formulated to work with clear stamps, it is dye based ink but it works better on clear stamps (and I've tried it on numerous clear stamp companies) then any other ink...

This is one reason to only use cleaner that was made just for stamps. It might not be noticeable until years later but the wrong cleaner can break them down. I'm willing to bet many of these stamps...

I do use an HP 6520 for my negatives, it's not an expensive printer and it works great. The R2000 *is* a great printer for crafting but the ink (and the printer) are pretty expensive so I only use it...

I just heard Papercrafts Magazine is no more. So sad to see so many paper/stamping shops (on-line and B&M) and magazines close down :(

Because I used to be a CTMH demo I have tons of their ink pads which are formulated for clear stamps, these are the pads I've been using with the clear SU stamps and have gotten really good...

Yes, it's really nice, a good weight and feel and best of all double sided!
I used several of the die cuts with the pattern papers and they cut really cleanly.

I use my Silhouette for most of my die cutting, if I have a quick and simple shape (like scalloped circles) I'll use my Cuttlebug but mostly I emboss with my 'Bug. Love my Silhouette!
