Your criteria matches my criteria for a good ink. I often use pigment ink to get the results I want but have tried LOTS of dye inks. The new Ranger dye inks stamp really well - solid, not blotchy....

I've read that a laminator with multiple heat settings, and one that is capable of laminating 10 mls is the best for foiling. Frank at Pulsar Pro FX recommends a Tamerica. It's about $140.00, shipped.

I use my 12 inch cricut mats in my silhouette cameo all the time. No taping edges, just load it right in the machine. I've been doing this since the cameo was released. No problems at all.
