That is a great idea! I never thought of painters tape, I've always tried using small pieces of card stock strategically placed...not always successful. I will definitely get a piece of the tape...

Popping in here to make a comment about using waxed paper to get the intricate dies to release the die cut.
Regular waxed paper works ok, but a slicker, more reliable alternative is bakery tissue....
