Is it possible that the "tics" are on a different layer? Check the toolbar for the layers folder and see if there are additional layers. I don't use the tic - marks, I delete them on my SCAL files...

It seems like everything I have cut this week has torn or not cut completely. It's enough to make you tear your hair out. I am using a different cardstock than usual, but it should have been fine....
