I break up all my sets. I have nearly all wood mounted, but those few I have unmounted (mostly roller stamps), I still break up into categories to make it easier when I stamp as I do it by theme. ...

Since I break p my sets and store them by type or theme, I just write the name of the set on the side of the block with a Sharpie. Then I know where it came from, can check to see on SCS how others...
