i have a couple of other jars, all bought at the same time from the same supplier online, i'll try one of those and pray they work. I would hate to think my money got wasted.

well the bottle is marked Roman Gold Embossing...

well the bottle is marked Roman Gold Embossing powder. I was embossing white cardstock. basically followed the steps you just outlined with the exception of using the embossing buddy.

Hi embossing and stamping is quite new to me, i tried doing the heat embossing but my paper turned brown and the powder didn't melt well not all of it, it seemed like the bottom grains melted but...
