Big Shot cutting pads

I have a problem with my Big Shot cutting pads curling after using them for only a little. Does anyone else have this problem and what causes it? :confused:

I also hate Stampin Up black ink. In fact it doesn't even look black, it looks purple. I threw mine away. I love love love Versafine and Memento. They are really good to stamp with.
