I think that using the aquapainter to pick up color off the crayon is a great idea so you can get in those tight spaces. I didn't think of that! Might have to get some now........

They come 24 to a box. Are they SU colors? If so, which ones? I read about the new crayons in all 48 colors, but you couldn't use a dove blender with those could you? what about details?

I bought a nice 48 pad wood one off eBay and referred my Mom there, where she bought a huge 92 pad one with ribbon storage in the middle. She got a great deal on it.

I was calling this the tri-fold b/c that's what my Mom said it was ,but then I realized that a trifold is a pretty basic thing to do, duh! I think she meant "flip-flop".
