Alternatives to heat embossing?

Hello all. I'm looking for alternatives to the effect that heat embossing gives. Would glossy accents be a good alternative? Are there any other alternatives you can think of?

Thanks for the response! I ended up buying what you have, I think, but European version because I need cms as well as inches. Also bought the scoring blade too.

but I thought I should mention that I am using the paper trimmer for card making, so I won't be cutting/scoring anything larger than A4 or Letter size.
