thank you to everyone for their replies. I got the clear ink pad on sale for $1.79, figured I'd give it a go.
So far as the "white" StazOn - I see what you mean about stamping on the cardstock....

I have a Stampology PEARL Clear Stamp Ink Pad by Autumn Leaves - how in the world do I use it? It comes out clear, so the only thing I can think of is embossing (? or is it not wet long...
