For my mats I used a wee bit of spray adhesive. Just a light quick spritz and I'm good to go for quite awhile.

I do both. If I see something in a SVG file that's cute I might cut one out to inspire me to make a card. For stamps that I'm using on a card I cut when I need it.

I would think if you could cut glittery card stock then embossed items wouldn't be a problem. With a small border around it You really wouldn't be cutting into the embossed part. I'll give it a go...

By golly, I didn't think it could make a difference, but it does! I hope this is helpful to others. I guess the lesson is - if your image is not scanning, do try turning off lights near your machine...
