I have done both.... I find 8x8 easier to work with b/c I can print out 4x6 size images and don't need to trim them. 6x6 need to be trimmed or printed out in a smaller size.

I find that I have to clean them every so often otherwise they leave a residue on the stamp. I run my under water till the water runs clear. You can see that the bottom is stained with a green ink...
