Without knowing which card you mean, the base on our corner punches "clips" off, then you can use it straight to create a decorative edge. Hope that helps!

Maybe you could try a few drops of the yoyo yellow reinker - that way you wouldn't ruin your stamp pad and dab on a paper towel? I am going to try that on some of my stained up, well-loved, workshop...
