I have that issue on my standard size MISTI. I usually just use my smaller one but, sometimes only the standard size will do. I have to remember to slide the door down toward me as I close it....

And, if not already doing so, make sure you run it they with the wavy lines perpendicular to the rollers. That makes a huge difference for me.

I think you need to have a glass cutting mat/board, not a self healing mat. At least that is what Stampin' Up sold to work with the Circle Scissor Plus. Maybe someone else has experience using it...

I would be using a cut file. I don't own a Scan and Cut yet to try. The SU glimmer paper works well in BigZ dies and punches but can give iffy results with Sizzlit dies. I thought I read somewhere...
