I'm starting to get this all ready to take next weekend and I just want to make sure I'm clear on the deets. Rule # 2 says "PLEASE USE QUALITY CARDSTOCK WITH AT LEAST 2 LAYERS, 1 EMBELLISHMENT, 1 PHOTO MAT, AND 1 TECHNIQUE." I get it all except for the photo mat and technique. Would the photo mat be concidered the second layer and what would be concidered technique? Would "simply" stamping/or cricut cutting be a tech?

The photo mat could be used as a second layer. A second layer could also be a border or a stamped image. I put "photo mat" on there to make sure there is a place to put a picture. I put "second layer" to make sure it wasn't just a 6x6 with some stamps on it.
A technique would be something done with your stamped image....like embossed, glittered, even hand colored. Your background could have a technique like shaving cream or dryer sheets, anything that shows creativity.
I'm not sure if cricut is a technique. How about cricut can be used as a technique/photo mat/second layer if you have a cute embellishment :0)

Well glad the date is way out there - went 100% opposite direction with my layout this morning. Rather than traditional Christmas colors went muted green with a muted red fushia'ish color lol
Also, was channeling my inner stamping mode - why I didn't channel it on a swap for 6 persons rather than 26, I'll never know lol ..
I stamped, colored, glittered, cut and matted extras so it was all good!

Oh my!!! I almost had heart failure! I've been done with these for a couple of months and was working on another project tonight when I came across this envie of my finished product...I FREAKED thinking they were OVER due. Much to my surprise...I'm still in the clear! They'll be postal early in the week!
As I posted before, found some really adorable DP for my letter L. Theme is Santa's List, along the lines of He's making a list checking it twice. Came across the new stamps that Flourishes just came out with. Here is the link as I don't know how to post pictures yet.
