SWAP COMPLETE-Wide Borders Round 6--On Their WAY HOME
This is a quick and easy swap, it is for wide borders only. The borders must be at least 3" by 11" If you have a 2010-2011 SU! catalog, check out pages 71, 120, 126, 137 and 159. There are many inspirational photos in this catalog that will get you started, see page 33, 46, 100, 113, 148, 214 etc.
*** This round will be 4+1, since you can make 3 borders out of a 12x12 sheet... This way you can make 6 borders, send me 5 (4+1) and you keep one for yourself!!! ***
Details: 4+1 (one for hostess) 3 to 4" x 11"-12" borders.
These borders should include two layers of paper (cardstock/patterned paper or Cardstock/cardstock), some sort of technique (stamping, die cut, journal tag, embossing, sewing, etc.) and at least one embellishment. They can be either horizontal or vertical it's up to you.
This will be a running list so there won't be specific categories.
Send your borders in a ziplock or plastic wrap, return envelope, postage (+extra that will be returned if not needed) and label. I will re-use your envelope if I can.
Please label your borders - this really helps when swapping!

I was thinking about doing Disney themes for my borders... Generic of course so they would work for both boys and girls and for both Disney World and Disney Land...
What are your thoughts??? Would you guys want to receive those kind of borders??? I know this isn't a Disney swap, but would you mind if I did the Disney theme on my borders???

Honest replies only please...
Nancy...
I am totally up for Disney borders .... I just finished a big Disney album and depleted a lot of my stash......
And I'll take 5 spots... I have Disney ideas floating thru my head... And I need a Disney fix...
Still no Disney trip on the books... Gotta wait and see if they delay my project or if it really is going to come up live in December...
Gotcha added, funny you should mention Disney, I was just asking DH if I could take the 2 younger boys and leave him and the oldest home. It didn't go over well, hey at least I tried!

I get 5 weeks of vacation a year... DH gets 1 week... So I try that trick with my DH too... And he also doesn't go for it... He love Disney just as much as I do...
I was hoping he would go for it, but no! He is the one with lots of commitments this summer, not me! Oh well at least I tried. I was just pricing hotels to do a quick overnight in New York City, no thanks! Way too pricey, I might just take the bus and do a day trip with the boys. They just want to go to Times Square.
Here are my first two borders... The top one is 4 inches wide... The bottom one is 3 inches wide...
Not sure what theme my next three borders will be... Suggestions anyone???
Those are cute. zi really like the bottom one. I think I have paper that would go with the top one and it is Disney paper too as well as embellies. Scary!
I need to see if I will have time to work on these first. I am not used to the new schedule at home yet. I am behind in laundry and cleaning etc and I am only getting to work on one page a week!
My basement is soooooo close to being done. I will need to move everything and get organized again too.

I agree with Pia... You need to join us... You know you want to...
And one border is all you need to make... But you know you'll end up making more...
