SWAP COMPLETE
We have a thread looking for swap ideas and the idea of a use your scraps came up, so here goes!
Use your scraps to make borders, just one border is all you need. Any theme, nvr. An embellishment or technique is required. BE SURE to use good quality cardstock and supplies!
Due October 19
All postage/swapping rules apply. Flakers need not apply. You will send in 4 borders and get 3 back. They do not all have to be the same. Do your best work, but dig in to your scraps/stash!

Hi Pia --
Am I understanding this one correctly? Do we just use scraps up to make 4 borders, they don't have to be the same? If so, I'm in for a spot!
(Depending on how many you get, I may be back for more... I have two huge bins of scraps...
)

That is it Susan, they don't have to match! You could even send in some borders you have gotten in swaps that aren't your style.

Style???? I have a style???
I don't know about THAT, but I do know I have 4 large storage bins full of pages/borders/accents that I still need to put into albums and actually put pics on them!
Yes, I admit it. I'm a swappaholic. I'm not sure I'm a scrapbooker as much as a scrapbook supplies collector...

Sign me up for one spot for now. Pia, is there a size requirement? I know most people use the 2x12 size, but the wider borders are fun too!
I'll probably sign up for more spots later...you know what??? Go ahead and sign me up for two spots I know I'll do at least that many!

Mine too Susan, at least I had my son organize the card stock scraps by color. Next we attack the full size patterned papers.

LOL I didn't even start these yesterday. I got side tracked and did a couple of layouts. One for a swap and then two more for myself. Even DD asked me when I was going to start these. They are on the agenda today
