worked on one set yesterday, but never finished. I have to figure out how many I have to do each day to get them done. My goal is to mail them on Monday.
PM us an ID on there or link, then I can find you. I'm terrible at finding others on there without a link, and I think I'm 'hidden' unless through someone else already a friend.

I saw both you and Pia on there but there was not the option to friend you. lol I am not sure I know how to send a link... but you can look up my name i think. jennifer Bishard.
I sent mine yesterday express mail so you should be getting it tomorrow or Friday. I may not have put in enough return postage though. When the time comes, please let me know. I weighed it at work and put in a few extra stamps but when I went to the PO it was more than I thought. Probably because of the priority and DC which I don't need on the return.

Thank you....I'll be on the lookout and let you know when they arrive.

Your swaps arrived today.....that was quick. They're awesome. I love the colors/papers.
well.....I got a lot done today......I finished all my Disney sets and a few more of my general sets. All I have left to make are 3 family sets for Susan, 1 family set for Libby and 1 Mickey Mouse Club for Natalie.
I haven't made the girlie set for Betty as she has not been on this thread since the beginning of November and has not responded to my email inquiring if she is still participating. I'll save that set for last.

I have not done her set either... so i will hold off as well. If you can just let us know what comes from it
I feel for ya Pia... At least I can stay home and work on these swaps and get some work done too!!!
I've been putting in 60+ hour weeks since Thanksgiving, working all 7 days, but at least I can do some of those hours from home...
Like right now I'm working on the swaps and converting Hope Tax data... I have 2 tables converted and 2 more to run... The table that's being converted right now takes about 5 hours to run... And the last table takes about 12 hours... I'll run that job when I got to bed so it's finished when I get up tomorrow morning...
3 more weeks and the new system comes up live, no matter what...
How many days until you're headed to Paris??? Isn't that coming up soon???
Wow Nancy....you're on a roll tonight. I've been working on all my borders. I have a hard time with them for whatever reason. I never know what to do with them.
I don't feel so bad then for being so late on these so far!!!
I worked on more yesterday but these seem to be taking longer than normal for some reason... maybe I am putting more into them or something, not sure. I always struggle with embellishing... I used glitter cardstock instead of glitter, but I don't know why I can't seem to figure out how to embellish some things... I hate just sticking things on for the sake of sticking them on I guess. So a few of you may get loose embellishments tucked in as options to add but I just didn't "feel" them on there if that makes sense... sorry.
I had the most fun with the construction and race car ones so far I think, just because I used the Paper Dolls carts and black glitter cardstock for road pavement... hehe.
I've got 7 left to try to finish up today. Working full time all week is what kills my crafting, imagine that. And I have a lot else going on to say the least, and with DH now as a pastor, our weekends become nutty schedules too.
But I hope to finish up today or tomorrow night and still get them postal by midweek.

Same here.....I hate sticking things on them for the sake of embellishing them. I would say if the embellishment isn't called for not to use it. I would consider the inking, chalking, glitter etc as embellishment enough. I used some of the paper piecings as embellishments on some of mine. I had a hard time on these this round as well. I was tired of using the same cartridges all the time and tried to find or create new cuting files for some of them. I used a Disney cartridge for Libby's general Disney set and that's it. The other ones are not anything you will find on a cartridge and I hope everyone likes them.
I was debating on uploading pictures since they were so different.
Whew, seems we are all in the same boat. I too am slow at getting these out. I tried to work on them yesterday during the football game but could not get into it at all.... I ended up just starting at the paper for a few hours and then moved to the couch to finish the game! Hopefully the creativity hits today so i can finish them up!
well....I've sent two messages to Betty asking if she is still participating and I still have not heard back from her. At this point I would say it is up to each of you in her groups to decide if you want to send her a set "just in case" or consider it a "flake". I'm not sure what to do at this point. She hasn't been on here since November and I have no idea if she will be mailing any swaps to me. What do you all think?

can you send an email with a deadline? I am guessing she is not participating. When is the last time she logged on?
Might want to have a moderator call her? They have phone numbers. I often run things through them if not sure.
I have made them either way but if nothing else, you can send them back to me.
I'm down to the last four --- and have most of the pieces cut but ran out of time last night before I had to go to church to get them done, and it ran late so didn't get home in time to finish yet. I should be able to finish them tonight and mail out by Wednesday to you.
I need to get better at adding ink and shading and such to my pieces like you all do! I don't even think about it or remember that while piecing those together!
Beth -- You do amazing work so I don't even need pics to know that! I'm always in awe of the pieces you cut and often wish I'd gone with that system rather than the Cricut. Maybe in my next crafting venture (aka retirement in another 20 yrs probably!). haha
I never think about inking the pieces Susan. I can't do it for this swap. I have put scrap paper in where I can. Beth's work is great. I too have so much invested in the cricut that I can't change. I do have make the cut so I can still use that to cut other files. I would have had more done, but my sister had a mini emergency. Family first!! I think I have 2 general sets and then the disney sets done. Susan, I made a magic carpet of aladdin for you, that is a kid ride.
I have not made Betty's set and I do not think that I will (unless i hear otherwise before I send) if she IS participating, I can make them and send direct to her at that time.
Oh bummer... I was hoping you actually made ME a Magic Carpet. But I'll be happy with the scrap set for the ride.
