I hear you on that Beth Pia. I did that not too long ago. I have so much stuff it is stupid really. I have stopped buying new things though. Except my SU solid paper order that I usually do to fill my quota. I have so many swaps that i have no idea what to do with but am getting much better at actually using the things that I have. I have also started adding to them or altering them into things that i can actually use.
I was listing you both as not wanting things... no problem. But I can make you Pooh items if you like or others... I have the classics cart and the Toy Story one too and Pixar and Pooh and Mickey & Friends and the one with Beauty & Beast.
COME DO A GOOD DEED WITH ME!
Just sharing with you a couple of great swaps that are either swaps where you can receive cards back or you can choose to simply donate your cards to them.
The first two are for soldiers:

Susan,
whatever you make for Nancy you can make for me! I was just teasing you!
I've been working on a couple sets this weekend.
I made my pieces for Dorlene (X-mas.... hey santa set from my scrapchick),
Jennifer (X-mas ...raggedy elves from myscrapchick & Halloween....pieces from myscrapchick & Little Scraps of Heaven) and cut out some of my pieces for Pia (Italy & Paris....from my Silhouette Studio).
I got as far as making a list of what I needed to make. THis is my last weekend of studying since my last test this semester is tomorrow!! With having over 2 weeks off work at Christmas, I plan to get them done then.
You are getting my excited Bethkinder. I made some candy this weekend but need to continue with the borders, etc.
I was on a page candy roll yesterday!
Same here....I finished a lot of page candy and just have the borders to do.
I finished Susan's Fall set, Pia's Paris set and got a good start on Pia's Italy set. My next set I'm going to start is Pia's graduation set. I'm saving Susan's for last since hers are all the same theme and I need to figure out what I'm going to do.
Can you add me to the open Disney group please? I have not been to Disney but I took Little Miss to Disney on Ice. I would like Tangled and the Princess and the Frog. Those were her favorite and I have a ton of pictures!!

Okay, ladies.
I noticed a big long box under the Christmas tree. I didn't put it there, therefore I know it must have been DH who put it there.
Its exactly the size of a Cricut Expression box.
Which has been on my wish list for a couple years now. I have the original Cricut... for that matter I have two of them actually, due to my sister finding one at an estate sale... but nonetheless, I have wanted to get the Expression to do the bigger sizes.
Now, there is a slight possibility that he could have gotten me something else or put it in that size box... but given that I've hinted by sending him every link to every sale of the Expressions that I've seen for the last 45 days... probably not likely. And he is pretty much one of those who will get me something on the wish list, not something else, you know? (I didn't give him a wish list the first couple of years of marriage and ended up with some rather different styles of jewelry and such to say the least so started a year-round wish list he can refer to for any special events... for safety's sake... and so that I don't have to wear some rather awkward pieces of jewelry in strange colors/styles all the time... that the twins seem to think they have the ability to pick out with him for me...trust me, not good... )
In any case, I'm maintaining calm until next week to see if that's what I get to break in for this swap. I have some ideas already and could begin using the regular original ones but we shall see...
Good question Beth. I bought a nice family theme paper pack for the borders, it is the candy that is getting me. Not that I have started, I just have been thinking!
Nah, just about any I think. It was the first time they'd had a family reunion for my husband's father's side of the family/relatives. We had about 60 of them come to our house, from babies all the way up to the 90 yr olds. Some of them hadn't seen each other in over 40 years even though they live within a few hours of each other. It was a pot luck of food and family. Jones is the family name if that helps any.
One is a biker (Harley of course). A few are firefighters in Baltimore area. Came from MD, PA and WV. Hope that helps some or inspires.

Are there any special things/shapes etc. in regards to the "family" themed items I can make?
I hear ya Susan. I always say the same thing. What I need now isn't exactly what I'm going to need tomorrow...
I always seem to use everything.
Hope you do get the Expression. I have one on my wish list too. My DH is so crazy. He refuses to step foot in a craft store. I told him to take DD with him and she'll pick out stuff for me, but he doesn't want to. I guess he'll go down a notch or two in man points. The most he'll ever get for me craft-wise is glue sticks. LOL I'm not even kidding. Probably because he can get those at Walmart, Target or even the grocery store. What makes me giggle is the fact that in those exact same stores, he can find crafting stuff. I don't get it but ...
One day I'll get the Expression, but it'll be something I buy myself.
