Hey Peggy, I was hoping you would come along. Super, Thanks for joining

I was talking to a friend the other day and she and I were brainstorming on things you could put on a page. I am thinking they could be like journal boxes, small and easy on shipping

Hope we get more

Sure, you can have two spots? Thanks for joining.

Remember ladies, I made a few examples on the first page to give you some direction but you can make your pockets any way you want with any theme

Hi Karen -- I want to be sure I understand... we are making 3+1 SETS with each set having 3-5 pockets in each, is that right? Are we to leave the labels blank instead of hand writing on them like your example set? I would prefer that as I don't care for the handwritten items. Just wanted to check before I commit. Thanks.

Morning Susan,

Yes, this will be a running list working the same like card candy in where you make the same set 4 times, 3 to swap and one for me, the hostess. The pockets can be a variety of different types with any theme. I just made those to spark your creativity. You can make them how you want. I just ask to include the bags if you making bag toppers only because of the size variations. You may choose to not do that style of pocket too. Up to you! I did not put a size requirement on them either so make them as big or small as you wish.

I agree on the writing, I only write on my kids albums and never on any pieces I do on Splitcoast.

I am so curious to see what you all come up with. I did mine in just an hour or so off the top of my head. I am sure if some research on the internet, they can come with loads more ideas. Splitcoast does not have a template for pockets.

Thanks, Karen. I would like one spot for now then. I love the ones that look like Library card pockets and was thinking of maybe stitching some with clear acetate overlays on the front too so you can see through them...

These are all being mailed to you though, right? When you say round robin, I think of those where you mail from person to person and they pick from the package and add replacements and then mail to the next person... so wanted to be sure on that too.

Thanks Susan, I will put you down.

Oh, dah, I meant to say Running list. Not sure where I came up with that. Must have been reading up that just before I wrote you. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh, stitching sounds cute. Library cards are a neat idea too. I could add that to the front page. I believe there are so many, many more ideas out there on pockets, envelopes and bag holders out there.

The double pocket cards and flower pot cards also make great pockets for scrapbooking!
Double pocket card **with link to directions
flower pot card - Homemade Cards, Rubber Stamp Art, & Paper Crafts - Splitcoaststampers.com

And vellum pockets --- (this is a big one but you get the idea) Giving 100% of ME - PPress - Clear pocket

On Cricut, Fabulous Finds has a pocket you can make, and you can use the slider envelope on Going places. You can almost take any of the cards adn just seal the sides too and make pockets out of them and add a tag to slide in and out... especially the cute cut-out ones. Also on Tags/Bags/Boxes & More, and Sentimentals.

Cute envelope card too: http://www.cricut.com/messageboard/t...&key=&#4972406

CD Sleeves make great pockets too because you might want to put a CD in there with video or memories...
And another CD pocket idea: http://www.cricut.com/messageboard/t...&key=&#5725158

And I have the cute purse die cuts I just remembered, and they would make cute pockets too...

Oh, my mind can get too creative with these... just have to try them out.
I was just thinking how about an apple-shaped one with a worm shaped card/pull-out?
Or maybe tea cups or coffee mugs as pockets.
Wouldn't a kangaroo be cute?
Pocketbooks/purses and briefcases... suitcases... lunchboxes, lunchbags, shopping bags...

Of course there are jean pockets or shirt pockets too.

Oh my, those are great ideas. You can make luggage for road trips too. I never knew how many ideas were really out there until I started looking. Cute, cute, cute!

Tea cups for mother's day or spring or like a mother daughter page. Darling!

Hey Susan,

I checked out your swap. I am loving that idea but the due date is way too early for me. I need at least 2 months lead time to plan. I hope it fills up for you all though Maybe next time.
