*One their way home* Mini Album Kit Swap - Due 1/22/13
I don't know if you've seen Webster's Pages Sprinkles Craftbox (I've already re-ordered mine for October, but I do know they aren't everyone's style.
This isn't due until the middle of January. I have enough to do before the holidays and this gives us something to look forward to. This will be a great opportunity to use up those scraps (paper and stray embellies) that we can't seem to throw away. These do not have to be identical.
Here goes:
1. 2 (+1) due to me by 1/22/13
2. Each kit should include: 1 mini album (doesn't have to be bound) with at least 6 pages, (at least 4x4, not bigger than 5-1/2 x 8-1/2)
3. enough paper to cover anything that needs to be altered (if you're sending paper bags to make an album, please send enough paper to cover all the bags)
4. At least 3 of the following to embellish
a) 1 yd of ribbon, fiber
b) set of 2-4 journaling cards/tags
c) set of 4-6 brads/rhinestones
d) set of 3-6 flowers
e) rhinestone flourish
f) set of 4-6 buttons
g) resin/poly clay embellie
you get the idea (will gladly add any suggestions)
5. Please put each kit in their own baggie for protection, and please send $ or postage for the return home.
Mail to:

Everyone will get a kit from me. So you will receive 3 back.

Monica ... and that would be 6 individual pages so that when put together there would be 12?
We would just make the kits... not actually put them together? Should there be a photo included as to our "vision"?
Yes, 6 individual (pieces of paper) to make 12 pages (I always forget that).
And we just make the kits, not put them together into a finished project, unless you want to bind your papers to make a "blank" notebook style album. If you would like to include a photo, that's up to you.

Figured out what I'm going to make and cannot wait til I finish my other swaps to start this one! That being said - I know that I will be picking up things here and there for my mini albums! Love the planning part!
Hey, did I miss the party location? I'm starting to feel alone here!
Hi Susan, I'm sorry, no party (I wouldn't have a party without you). I've been busy trying to get samples finished for my classes at Michael's and now I have a lead for another job (teaching paper crafts to Senior Citizens). Busy, Busy.
Even though I seem to be as busy as I was when I was working full-time, it is still less stressful than teaching. Off to work on more stuff!

I'm guilty of that (picking up things ahead of time) and then putting it all together later. Such fun!
Gotcha down! Thanks for joining. What have you been up to?
Summer flew by, work's been hectic with no end in sight. And trying to keep up with swaps - having a hard time not joining, they all sound like so much fun and I love to see what others make. Still haven't learned to crochet yet; but it's still on my list.
How have you been? I got your card/stationary holder from the tagged textiles swap, very cute idea....I think I will be making some of these for friends.
What's everyone up to this weekend? I'm hosting Crop Night at Mike's tonight, in class to renew my teaching certificate (9 - 5:30) tomorrow, and teaching classes at Mike's on Sunday. Busy but fun!!
Hi monica....
I've been away from your thread for a few days. I'm back. Can you show me some links about poly, I'll also go and reread Susan's poly swap maybe that'll give me some ideas too.
Hugs from WI
